Rocking the Boat for 2010 Elections
April 1st, 2008While the US presidential elections are heating up with caucuses, debates, and rallies everywhere. In our country also, politics are warming up because lots of personalities are gearing and “daydreaming” to the highest position in the land. Many of the so-called “early hopefuls” for the presidency, describe themselves as pro-poor, anti-poverty, god-fearing and are very firm to uplift every Filipino’s dream. The ambitious mind of these personalities slowed our present economic gain and put our country into the ground of foolishness. I myself exasperated cried out over the present situation that rocked the present government for its causes pain for our economy and confusion for us Filipinos. The never-ending allegations of cheating in the 2004 polls, the Lozada Expose, remain as the weapon of the opposition, the “ambitious” and the leftist group in calling the president to stepdown and downdgrade our present economic stability. The call was also supported by the so called “man of the masses”, the “convicted plunderer” whose mind wants to put this country again in uncertainty and failure. He asked the people to rally behind him in his call of revenge to overthrow the present government who pardon him and obviously wanted to reinstate himself to the presidency. This “fallen president” has no “debt of gratitude” and has no moral ascendancy down to his lieutenants and friends. We can see his minions almost everyday in television catching up to get noticed and be admired. They easily made baseless statements, throw accusations, pointing fingers to the government in order to ruin and put this administration down to their feet, and, also lets not forget how they hide the “truth” in the impeachment trial that created a massive crowd that rallied the ouster of the “convicted president”. Look at these people they’re also tainted with corruptions and money-making. Now, they’re protesting, pinning for destabilization, shouting for another people power, accusing the government, pretending to be sinless, and “riding-in” the allegations of Mr. Lozada without searching for the “real truth”. If these accusations were really true they should submit it to the highest court and not in a baised senate court or in any streets. They easily judged and misjudged this government, who gave us a soaring and a stunning economy. Everybody are rocking the boat especially those who are hungry for the position and those who cannot wait for the 2010 elections. That’s thirst for power and thirst for money.
Lastly, we are tired of too much politicking, now, its time for us Filipinos to use our voice as one and be vigilant and be wiseful in the coming 2010 elections….. don’t let ourselves be fooled again, don’t waste our vote, don’t let politics be fool-litics that ruins this country!!! Enough is enough. Let’s move forward, let’s unmasked the bondage of poverty and let’s emblazoned the spirit of unity, peace and a progressive Filipinos. Mabuhay!
